History:

The Strand Stadium was built in 1936. First teams that played there were Sporting Pitesti and CFR Pitesti. Starting with 1953 FC Arges(named Dinamo Pitesti at that time) played in Strand until they gain promotion and Nicolae Dobrin Stadium was built. In 2000's International Pitesti played here in the third and second division., also CSM Argesul Pitesti played here in the fourth and third division. It has 2500 seatted places.

Getting there:

By walk, there are 10-15 minutes from the city center.
If you want to take a taxi it will cost you maximum 6 lei(1,4 euro) from the center.
